MAX BioPharma is currently seeking investors for a series A financing for the company. We seek investor partners with a successful track record of early stage investing in biotechnology startups who would also provide management and business development resources. The company proposes a staged financing schedule tied to scientific milestones of current and future R&D activities. MAX BioPharma will continue to minimize risk to investors by leveraging as much public funding as possible through grants from the National Institutes of Health and private not-for-profit foundations. So far the company has raised more than $6M in non-dilutive funding through the National Institute of Health (NIH) and California Institute for Regenerative Medicine (CIRM) for some of its therapeutic development programs.
